Our Minister
Bryon Curry, a native of Saginaw, Michigan was baptized at the S.17th Street COC (Church of Christ) in February 1986.
During a deployment to the Indian Ocean in 2003, he began preaching the gospel. He has preached in Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Texas, and the British Indian Ocean Territory of Diego Garcia.
He married his wife Margaret three times in 2004 and they now reside in San Antonio, TX. He retired from the Air Force in July 2010 after 20 years of service. They have three children: DeAnna, DeNene, and Elijah. He was blessed to have baptized all three of them.
He served as a deacon at Lackland Terrace COC, taught the Wednesday night adult bible class and oversaw the visitation and evangelism ministries. He also participated in the Lackland AFB ministry teaching and preaching to BMT trainees averaging a baptism a week for 10 years.
He served as Youth Minister at Lackland Terrace COC from 2011-2015.
He served as Associate Minister over Youth and Families at San Pedro COC from 2015 to 2019. The San Antonio COC (Church of Christ) was started in May 2019 where he serves as the Pulpit Minister.
